MESC 2026 participants revealed

The Maltese broadcaster PBS has officially announced the 18 artists competing in the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026 (MESC). The reveal took place during a special show aired on TVM and streamed on Facebook, where fans also got a first taste of each entry through 10-second snippets.

Matthew Cilia – “Brutality Mentality”

The lineup features several returning fan favourites, including Aidan, who finished as the MESC 2022 runner-up, and Matt Blxck, who placed second in MESC 2024.
📺 Show Format & Dates
PBS will broadcast the MESC 2026 Semi-Final on January 15th.
All 18 artists will compete, but only 12 will advance to the Grand Final on January 17th.
Finalists will be chosen through a 50/50 jury and public vote.
🇲🇹 A Look Back
Last year, Malta was represented by Miriana Conte with “Serving”. She finished 17th in the Eurovision 2025 Grand Final, earning 91 points.
With a mix of strong returning contenders and fresh new voices, MESC 2026 is shaping up to be one of Malta’s most exciting selections yet.
