Big news from Cyprus! On Thursday, 6 November, national broadcaster CyBC confirmed that Antigoni, known for her time on Love Island UK (Series 8), will represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. The singer-songwriter becomes the first artist officially announced for next year’s competition, with her song set to be revealed soon.

In August, Vienna was officially announced as the Host City for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
The 70th edition of the Contest will culminate with the Grand Final on Saturday 16 May at the Wiener Stadthalle, Austria’s largest indoor arena. The Semi-Finals will take place earlier that week, on Tuesday 12 May and Thursday 14 May.
At the 69th Contest in Basel, Cyprus was represented by Theo Evan and his song Shh, which earned 44 points in the First Semi-Final, finishing in 11th place.
