🔧 What’s New in 2026?
This year’s edition comes with a handful of important changes:
• A new Wild Card round: All third-place semi-final finishers will face off in an online public vote, with the winner earning the final spot in the Grand Final.
• No more superfinal: The overall winner will be chosen directly through a combined jury + public vote.
• Goodbye telephone voting: All voting will now take place online across every show.
Last year, Katarsis represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2025 in Basel with “Tavo akys”, finishing 16th in the Grand Final with 96 points.
With such a diverse and exciting roster for 2026, the season is already shaping up to be one of Lithuania’s most competitive yet.
